Sam was born September 1st, 1975 in Beaumont, Texas. Despite a harrowing Catholic education in his early years and a rocky high school career, he managed to graduate from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1999 with a B.A. in Broadcast Communication.

After graduation, Sam immediately became disenchanted with commercial radio and television. He has held an incredible variety of jobs over the intervening years, including strip club manager, pizza delivery engineer, armor designer and motorcycle parts advisor. He is presently employed as a computer network technician, and is quite pleased with the industry.

Sam refrains from taking any of his leisure pursuits too seriously. Whether it be writing, music, armoring or roughing up little kids for their Halloween candy, he finds that pursuing his passions professionally takes all the fun out of them. He'd rather waste his potential than let his talents bore him to death.
